Scholarship Detail: | The Carnival Corporation & plc, the parent company of Carnival Cruise Lines, and the Miami HEAT in partnership with UNCF will provide scholarship opportunities to students who have demonstrated a capacity to succeed. In addition to the eligibility criteria above, to be considered the applicant must: - Completed the Miami HEAT or Carnival - Have an unmet financial need as determined by the University's Financial Aid Office - Enrolled full-time - Be a - Have a GPA of at least 2.8 on a 4.0 scale and be in good academic standing UNCF will select students from the total candidate pool recommended scholarships will be for amounts up to $5,000 per student, per academic year. Students must submit the following documents along with their completed, signed application: 1. Official college or high school transcript 2. One letter of recommendation from a faculty member familiar with the applicant's academic abilities and/or achievements required for entering freshmen only 3. Essay on how personal and/or academic experiences have influenced career goals |
